In 1994 we became the general partner of Safety Line 116 111, the only toll free non-stop nationwide helpline for children who find themselves in a difficult situation. Thanks to the O2 Foundation, children may call the helpline for free.

Safety Line experts receive 95 calls from children in an emergency situation every day..
The helpline is mostly used by the children and young people who are not able to cope with their situation, feel threatened, lonely, betrayed and confused, and do not want or cannot share their problems with anyone close to them, yet they need understanding, support, assurance as well as qualified advice and help. The children and young people get enough room to discuss their situation with a helpline expert and they look for a possible solution together.

Due to limited capacity, Safety Line consultants can serve less than 26% of calls from children in a crisis situation.

Donor SMS, or DMS

Let Your Old Phone Help

You have an old or not working mobile or fixed telephone and not know what to do with it? Do the right thing and bring it to our O2 shop. We will take care of correct disposal of the retired handsets.

For each retired and recycled handset the O2 Foundation will support the operation of Safety Line 116 111 with CZK 25.

By ecological disposal of your non-working mobile telephones, you will not only help children in a difficult situation, but you will also help the environment.

Donor SMS, or DMS

Anyone who owns a mobile telephone may support the Safety Line by sending a donor SMS.

The donor SMS in the format DMS LINKABEZPECI sent to the following number 87777 will help children and teenagers in a crisis find support and help in their difficult situation.
You may also contribute regularly all-year-round, just send a text message in the format DMS ROK LINKABEZPECI to the following number 87777.

The charge per DMS is CZK 30. Safety Line will receive CZK 27 for each DMS you send.
